This case study presents how the unit of munition-searching dogs of the Swedish armed forces handles their experiences from international service. The subject is particularly interesting as previous research into the area is nonexistent. The questions asked in the study are answered through the authors findings that training and preparation of this unit has developed thanks to the input of Lessons learned from previous missions. This paper, based manly on experience reports, show that the unit successfully uses the method for handling Lessons learned chosen within the Swedish armed forces..

One of the main tasks of the Swedish Armed Forces over the past few years has been International assignments, which increased the importance of the Lessons learned process. Methods of simulator training with computers have become more frequent and the technical ability to collect digital data from sensors has been developed as well. This work demonstrates how the experience of Lessons learned can be communicated with the computer simulator StriSimPC and how modern technology in future support experiences from the Lessons learned process at the tactical level in the Army.Currently knowledge sharing consists of several processes and strategies in the Swedish Armed Forces. This is done by written reports, oral presentations and different practical exercises.This case study shows the functions of the simulator StriSimPC, methods of training and how it is used today. The study also describes the future opportunities, where digital metadata acquired from the modern combat vehicles could contribute sharing of experience in the Lessons learned process.The summarized conclusions indicate that StriSimPC can combine the two strategies for personalization and codification of knowledge transfer to reach a higher level of learning.

The purpose of thesis was to investigate and compare how two companies within pharmaceutical industry and nuclear power industry are currently working with quality development regarding continuous improvement and Lessons learned in business processes. In addition, a simple comparison was made with the automotiveindustry.McNeil AB are improving their processes continuously and are according to the findings of this report performing well in their pursuit of world-class pharmaceutical production. They have a well functioning process regarding improvements proposed in weekly improvement meetings engaging all employees. However, during interviews it was made clear that the functionality of the process which administer improvement proposals generated in addition to, or beside the weekly improvement meetings, were inadequate. McNeil AB is proposed to administer this through an IT solution instead of by paper and e-mail, that simplifies the process of adding, implementing and follow up an improvement proposal.The nuclear power plant Ringhals AB recently made major improvements in their business processes as well as the plant itself.

Dagens konflikter utspelar sig mestadels i helt eller delvis bebyggd miljö och vikten av en uppdaterad och väl fungerande prickskytteförmåga är därför central. Detta till trots, återfinns stora brister i den svenska prickskytteutbildningen vad avser just den urbana miljön. Denna uppsats syftar till att dels bidra med nya infallsvinklar samt ge ett användbart arbetsunderlag för Försvarsmaktens vidare utveckling i ämnet. Genom att komma på det klara med hur prickskyttar utbildas och används i Sverige idag och jämföra detta med utländska modeller och andra länders goda och sämre erfarenheter, vill jag ge förslag på hur den svenska prickskytteutbildningen skulle kunna utvecklas. För att ge uppdaterad information har jag begränsat min efterforskning genom att mina studier av andra länders prickskytteerfarenheter avser det senaste decenniets förehavanden, snarare än utvalda länders specifika tillvägagångssätt.

The purpose with this essay is to compare two classes in an international school during their mathematic lesson. The international school offers education to their pupils in two languages; in Swedish and in English. Through this study I want to find out how teachers are working with language and communication during school hours. I will compare the work of two teachers and two classes to find out the differences and similarities between their work methods concerning language and communication during mathematic lessons.The main questions for the essay:How do the teachers work with language and communication in this school during the mathematic lessons?What similarities and differences are there between the two teachers in matter of methods of working with language and communication during the mathematic lessons?The research is based on interviews with the teachers and also on observations in the classroom during mathematic lessons.

The purpose of this essay was to study what students at the upper secondary levels thought that they learned in physical education and if there were differences between girls and boys learning. The purpose was also to study different factors that could affect the learning and to show how curriculum and prior research relate to the students learning. In this essay we used the three aspects of health that are mentioned in the description of physical education: the physical, the social and the psychic. The study was based on a quantitative research where 165 students answered questionnaires about their learning. Our research showed that the students did not get the knowledge that the A-course in physical education should provide and that the goals for the course were not accomplished.

Försvarsmakten har ett behov av en fungerande systematisk erfarenhetshantering. Det system som finns idag har utvecklingspotential och är inte fullt ut implementerat i organisationen. En essentiell sektor i implementeringsarbetet och utvecklingen av förmågan erfarenhetshantering bör vara utbildning. Genom utbildning och information till organisationen bör förtroendet och legitimiteten för erfarenhetsprocessen öka vilket är viktigt för implementeringen av den systematiska erfarenhetshanteringen i Försvarsmaktens vardagliga rutiner. Syftet med denna uppsats är att diskutera huruvida Försvarsmaktens utbildningar och utbildningsplattformar stödjer implementeringen av en systematisk erfarenhetshantering.

Arbetet syftar till att analysera Förvarsmaktens övergripande process rörande erfarenhetshantering ifallet Kosovo mellan 2007 och nutid samt granska hur denna process tar sin utgångspunkt i organisationsteori och metod. Detta är de ingångsvärden som använts i den intervjustudie som genomförts. I denna studie kan två organisationsmodeller påvisas i tidsspannet som arbetet behandlat, en med början 2007 och en senare som i skrivande stund är under implementering, dessa har i olika grad påvisat kopplingar till modellrapporten från FOI 1998. Metodrapporten i sig baseras på Sarv respektive Garvin´s tankar om lärande organisationer och dess bakomliggande tankar är därför genomskinliga. Det teoretiska materialet ger fyra utgångspunkter för analys, mål, flexibilitet och dynamik samt medinflytande.
